The Path of Perception: Inner Critic Versus Inner Connection

The Path of Perception: Inner Critic Versus Inner Connection

Have you ever felt different?

Tried to fit in with others but knowing deep down that you don’t belong?

Ever since I can remember I have felt different.

Just writing this I can feel myself take a deep breath and release, finally safe in my knowing that this is a healthy and positive way of being.

In the past I  haven’t always felt this way.

Ever since I can remember I felt different.

I saw fairies and angels.

Yes, I really did.

Excited about my connection with these beings I would talk about them with sheer joy, only for it to be brushed swiftly away by adults as ‘pretend’ friends.

When I was 8 years old I vividly remember staring intently into a mirror repeatedly asking the question ‘Who am I?’. I looked into the deepest depths of my soul then as a child and I knew then I was so much more than my immediate surroundings.

Nobody else understood.

So what happened?

As I grew up in the 3D matrix of  life I lost my true self, little by little, by little.

Conformity, pressure and control key components in making this possible.

I lost my inner connection.

My inner critic took its place.

The inner connection that if I had of held on, would have given me the wisdom to navigate my way through life perhaps a little easier.

Instead, the inner critic fed on the feeling of being different.

It loved taking pride of place in my mind.

This morphed into a sticky journey of wading through painful experiences that continuously played out as I searched an unrelenting, unrewarding, empty playground of ‘looking for something’ ‘fit in and belong’ ‘be good enough’.

Have you ever felt like this too?

All of these emotions and feelings stifled, ignored and pushed down, more and more, festering.

Eventually, at a crossroads I was propelled back on course, where I embarked on a speed track of learning about spirituality, and also re-connected with my own healing journey.

However, this was many years later.

Why share this?

Feeling different, has many sides, a light side and a dark side with lots of shades of grey for good measure in between.

When you get to the bottom of it quite simply it is about perception and how you perceive yourself.

Feeling different can be a gift when nurtured or it can literally suck the life out of you.

Inner connection versus inner critic.

It can allow you to be a pioneer,  independent, evolve, find your purpose and shine.

It can allow you to self-doubt, self sabotage, isolate, compare, and feel a victim.

All of us may feel different at one point or another in our life.

The good news is we have a choice.

We can all change our perception in an instant.

So which one are you choosing?

Inner connection or inner critic?

What is Vibrational Sound Therapy?

What is Vibrational Sound Therapy?

Just what is Vibrational Sound Therapy …?  It’s a question I’m always being asked.

It generates a whole range of reactions. From, I totally get it … to a resolute it’s all just woo-woo, isn’t it??

Is it? Or isn’t it?  What’s your take on it?

Did you know that the faculty of hearing is one of the first senses to develop in the womb – and the last to depart before death?

Did you know that in addition to perceiving sound through the ears, we also ‘hear’ the pressure waves of sound through our skin? And the water that makes up approximately 70% of us, conducts sound up to five times faster than air.

How incredible is that?!

Vibrational Sound Therapy is based on the principle of sympathetic resonance. In other words, when you place one vibrating object next to another, they will vibrate together – with the lower vibration compelled to rise and match the higher vibration being used. If we think about opera singers, they have the ability to shatter glass!

This happens when the opera singer’s voice reaches and matches the same vibratory frequency of the glass. This is also known as resonance harmony. The resonance harmony principle relates to the cellular absorption of frequencies and is a very effective way to bring the body back into balance.

When our cells reach a certain frequency, it triggers light particles (protons) in our body to ignite, which then turns on the internal light in our body, raising the frequency of old oscillating cells.

This connects us on a much deeper conscious level.  It brings about the transition of cellular realignment (restoration) which in turn helps us to change old patterns of thinking, behaviour – and ultimately – belief systems.

Let me explain this a little bit more.

Sound has a profound effect on all living systems. Because it goes directly into the physical body, it means you don’t even have to know that as it bypasses the mind and works its wonders anyway! The vagus nerve – which connects the ear to the brain – also connects the ear (how we listen to sound) to nearly every organ in the body…

WOW. Imagine the powerful effect it has on our organs helping them to relax.

Nikola Tesla (a pioneer in the discovery of radar technology, X-ray technology, remote control and the rotating magnetic field) said ‘If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration’.

This is so very true.

Every single atom, particle, and molecule is pure ENERGY. All energy has a constant vibration and frequency. This includes us! Every single one of us at this precise moment is vibrating at a specific frequency.  This includes our emotions, bodies, organs, brain, cells, tissue, plasma, electromagnetic fields – known as the aura.

How amazing is that?! We are creating our own unique sound system.

All emotions, thoughts and feelings carry a specific energy vibration. Where the vibrational frequency is low the natural frequency and harmonious pattern is disrupted. This can manifest into illness or disease unless the vibrational template is changed on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level.

Imagine your body as an orchestra and it’s playing a beautiful symphony. Suddenly, one of the instruments goes out of tune or stops playing completely. This not only affects the harmony of the symphony being played but also the whole orchestra working together. It has a domino effect on our energy system and vibrational template.

Sound changes your internal vibration, so you are resonating at the authentic frequency for you!

Literally getting in tune on your way to wellbeing.

Now, what do you think Vibrational Sound Therapy means to you?

Still, think it’s just woo-woo?
